Edwin Jeans was created in Japan in 1947 at a time when denim was not made within the country and instead had to be imported from the US. The founder of the brand, known as Mr Tsunemi, created his own denim so he could wear the styles he loved - even pioneering the practice of stonewashing jeans for the classic faded look that has been popular ever since. Not only was Mr Tsunemi incredibly ambitious and creative, but he also had unique style and a passion for innovative streetwear.
