Number Six began in 2013 with an idea sketched on the back of a napkin; a fashion house that put people before product.

With over 40 years of combined experience in the fashion industry, our founders Katy and Omaran understood that the finest part of great retail isn’t what hangs on the rails. It’s the expertise of the people who help you find what’s truly right for you, that is how Number Six was built.

Today we are proud to be an award winning independent, recognised as Retailer of the Year 2026 Winner. What began in Chelmsford has become a destination for clients across the UK and beyond. The napkin is long gone, the values remain.
